Alter ego or piercing the corporate veil is not a separate cause of action. Ridgerunner LLC v. Meisinger, 2013 WY 31, ¶ 15, 297 P.3d 110.  Because it is not a separate cause of action all that is required is that the complaint "contain sufficient information to indicate a desire to proceed under the doctrine of piercing the corporate veil."  Id.  No further information is required to put a defendant on notice of a plaintiffs’ desire to proceed under the alter-ego doctrine.  See Ridgerunner, 2013 WY 31 at ¶ 15.
