Duplicative recoveries are not allowed.  See, e.g., Strouse v. M & M Properties, 32,792 (La. App. 2 Cir. 3/3/00), 753 So. 2d 434, 443 n.6 (concluding that the damages award for one medical bill was duplicative of that for another medical bill that was actually from the same entity, and reducing the award by that amount).
