A breach of contract claim requires a showing of three elements: (1) formation of contract; (2) performance by plaintiff of any conditions precedent; and (3) breach of contract by defendant. Briggs Transp. Co. v. Ranzenberger, 217 N.W.2d 198, 200 (Minn. 1970)).
