Suffice it to say only that the applicable rules clearly contemplate limitations on discovery that is unduly burdensome, oppressive or expensive.  New England Sav. Bank v. First Commercial Corp., No. CIV A No 88-2570 (D.N.J.1989).  The rules governing discovery, like the other Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, are to “be construed to secure the just, speedy and inexpensive determination of every action.”  Fed. R. Civ. P. 1.
