No Wisconsin cases were found that discuss “matricide” or “patricide.” In fact, only one case was located that uses either term in any way. In an unpublished Wisconsin Court of Appeals case involving the death of a mother at the hands of her 17-year-old son, a dissenting judge makes a passing reference to the case before him as one involving “matricide.” State v. Moeller, 1991 (Wis. App., May 30, 1991). No other references were found for the terms in either Wisconsin cases or statutes.
